Charles Russell Bard Award
In 1992, Bard management established the Charles Russell Bard Award as Bard's premiere recognition and reward program for employee excellence.
Employees are asked to nominate coworkers who demonstrate outstanding corporate and community citizenship. Award winners perform well beyond normal job expectations by demonstrating an exceeding ability to incorporate Bard's Values and Guiding Principles into job performance, and by acting as Bard ambassadors by volunteering their time and talent in their local community.
The winners are flown to New York City from our locations around the globe for a week of special events and recognition.
Bard Outstanding New Product Development Contributor Award
The Outstanding New Product Development Contributor Award is designed to recognize those individuals within our organization who make outstanding contributions to the success of a new product through their leadership and teamwork. These individuals have demonstrated the commitment, resolve and hard work needed to make their team accomplishments truly noteworthy in bringing a new product to market. Individuals from any function who contribute to new product development can be nominated for this award.
Bard Scientific and Technical Achievement Award
Innovative new products are critical to Bard’s growth strategy. The Scientific and Technical Achievement Award is presented to individuals within our organization who best exemplify our core value of Innovation through notable scientific and technical achievements in design, technology and the manufacturing of a new product. Any employee who is part of a Research and Development or Advanced Manufacturing Engineering function and has developed an innovative scientific and/or technology concept that has the potential to significantly impact our business is eligible.
