Davol Inc. – a subsidiary of C. R. Bard, Inc. – is a company with a rich history in the medical products industry.  Founded in Providence, RI in 1874, Davol was acquired by Bard in 1980. We currently employ approximately 200 professionals at our new state-of-the-art division headquarters in Warwick, RI, which opened in April 2008. We also have a field sales force of approximately 110 sales professionals located throughout  the US. 

 

Our employees commute to Warwick from surrounding communities in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut.  The office is centrally located, with easy access to T. F. Green Airport, Logan Airport in Boston, AMTRAK train stations and Route 95, the major highway connecting to Providence, Connecticut, Boston and New York City.

 

Rhode Island offers a scenic coastline that includes the beach resort communities of Newport and Narragansett.  Approximately 10 minutes from our facility is the city of Providence, often called the “Renaissance City,” known for its cultural attractions, historical neighborhoods, fine restaurants, shopping and theater.  

 

The area is also home to the  Pawtucket Red Sox, a Triple-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, and the Providence Bruins, an affiliate of the Boston Bruins.  Foxboro Stadium, home to the New England Partiots, is approximately 30 miles away.
