The Glens Falls Operation is known as Bard’s Technology Center of Excellence.  The plant has been in the Queensbury/Glens Falls area since the 1940s. It’s Bard’s largest domestic manufacturing facility, and is located approximately 50 miles north of Albany, in close proximity to the Adirondack Mountains, the resort town of Lake George, and historic Saratoga Springs, famous for its health, history and horses.

 

Approximately 900 people work at the Glens Falls Operation, commuting every day from the surrounding communities of Glens Falls, Hudson Falls, Fort Edward, Saratoga Springs, Whitehall, Corinth and Argyle. Some come from as far away as southern Vermont.

 

Glens Falls, New York is known as “Hometown, U.S.A.” and is in the midst of a major downtown revitalization.  Millions of dollars are being invested in exciting new housing, retail and office space, and state-of-the-art health care facilities. 

 

The Glens Falls Operation manufactures 28 product lines serving all Bard divisions and 10 OEM customers over three shifts.  The facility has on-site cafeteria services and offers many discounts with local vendors.

 

The Glens Falls Operation is close to I-87 and about 60 minutes from Albany International Airport.
